Melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos, segundo site das guitarras Gibson, usava Fender


Jimi Hendrix, que usava uma Fender Stratocaster, foi eleito como o melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos pelo site das guitarras Gibson. Votaram jornalistas, músicos e internautas.
A lista inclui 50 músicos que fizeram a história da guitarra, entre eles, Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, Chuck Berry e Keith Richards. Além dos blueseiros, como Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy e Roy Buchanan.
A lista inclui também nomes que não são tão conhecidos pelo grande público, como Duane Allman (Allman Brothers), Steve Crooper (Bokker T. & The MG’s), Mick Ronson (David Bowie e Ian Hunter), Ron Asheton (The Stooges), Scotty Moore (Elvis Presley).
Ficaram fora Muddy Waters, T. Bone Walker, Johnny Winter, Stevie Vai, Kirk Hammet, John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, Yngwie Malmsteen e Toni Iommi.
